How downloads work

TikTok serves each video from its own content delivery network, and the file that is returned depends on the region, the upload quality and whether the creator allowed downloads. This tool asks the extraction backend for whatever renditions are actually available for the link you paste, and lists exactly those — nothing is invented.

Short share links such as vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com are resolved server-side before extraction, so you can paste the link straight from the app's Share sheet without opening it first.

Quality options

TikTok normally exposes a single source-resolution MP4, sometimes alongside a watermark-free variant and an audio-only track. Lower renditions only appear when TikTok itself generated them.

In-app links sometimes carry a session token. Open the video in a browser, let it load, then copy the URL from the address bar and try again.

The video is private or friends-only

Only publicly visible videos can be processed. If the post is private, restricted by the creator or region-locked, extraction will fail and no download is possible.
