What this service hosts

Vid4 does not host, index or archive videos. The tools request renditions of a video from the platform where it is already published, and any resulting link is temporary. We therefore have nothing to remove from storage, but we can and do block links and disable processing on request.

Submitting a notice

Send a written notice to dmca@example.com containing:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work concerned.
  • The exact URL of the material at issue.
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was blocked in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the material and a statement under penalty of perjury that the block resulted from a mistake or misidentification.

Repeat infringers

We will restrict access to the service for users who repeatedly use it to infringe copyright.
